The College's main buildingThe Batterjee College for Medical Sciences and Technology (BMC) was founded in 2005 and received its first group of students in September 2006. BMC is considered to be the first specialist inclusive private university for medical sciences in the KSA. As a matter of fact it is also considered to be one of the most modern and larger private universities for medical sciences in the Middle East region. BMC was established by Bait Al-Batterjee Medical College Co. for Medical Sciences and Technology. It includes medical colleges that can accomodate 4,000 students (both males and females).

Our mission at BMC is to provide a high quality of significant medical education and health services according to the international standards, while maintaining our Islamic identity and traditions.

 

Vision

BMC aims to be a leading Educational Committee in Medical and Technological Sciences that provides communities with professional in all various medical educational fields. Such professionals, who are of strong ethical values and are capable of ensuring and maintaining compassionate patient care of international high standards of excellence, on both their community and hospital levels to fulfill their relative health needs.

 

Objectives
  • To provide advanced educational systems in the medical fields, fulfilling the needs of community and the region and maintaining high international standards.
  • To conduct educational and research programs in the various medical fields.
  • To develop, maintain and upgrade the skills of our students in the various medical fields.
  • Encouraging the students to implement the independent and critical analysis styles of education through their college study and their social lives.
  • To promote health awareness and disease prevention through educating the public to be alert for the various diseases and to care for their health.
  • To help in assessing the public healthcare needs and to meet these needs by developing and managing appropiate approaches.
