The Medical Information Technology program was founded to provide university education in some specialties directly related to the medical and business fields. Thus, BMC provides the regional market with qualified specialists in the field of medical and business technology.

Profile

Modern medicine basically depends on technology as its applications are a necessity in the medical field, specifically the communications and information technology. Though, this sector has been taught for a while in the higher educational institutions, there is still the need to intensify the educational process to catch up with the recent developments.

Duration of Study

The study program is our academic years (8 semesters), in addition to the foundation year. Teaching is performed based on the most recent international methodology with exploiting the most advanced multimedia. The program is theoretical and practical in the classroom and laboratories of the college premises located in North Obhur – Jeddah. In additions, to the field training in one of the institutions abroad for two months during the summer of the third year. Short educational courses are under planning.
